I have been in practice for four years in Marin County, working in community mental health, at the local elementary school and at the Marin City Health & Wellness Center.
I have worked with individuals, couples, families and children. I grew up in the SF Bay Area and have a background in the performing arts. I enjoyed being a long time "bus stop" counselor since I took public transit as a teenager! And when I returned to graduate school it became clear that this is what I love to do. I graduated from California Institute of Integral Studies with an MA in Integral Counseling Psychology in 2012. I have a passion and a love for the plight of the human being and how we create, manage and re-define our lives and our relationships.
My modalities are: relational, family systems, psychodynamic, humanistic and cognitive behavioral therapy. I integrate non-violent communication techniques, mindfulness practices and sand play therapy (when requested). At ICS we also offer groups.
I treat individuals struggling with a range of issues: Job/career transition, family, relationship, Depression, Anxiety, ADD/ADHD, grief and loss, LGBTQ, substance abuse, domestic violence, Bipolar Disorder, Asperger's Disorder, complex trauma and PTSD.
